Manuscripts: If you are thinking of sending a manuscript for us to consider, please contact us by email first. At this time we are not accepting any new manuscripts as our schedule is full through to the end of 2018. However if you would like us to consider your manuscript to be included in a future publishing schedule there is a reading fee of £50; we will offer advice on your book and hopefully be able to include the manuscript in the 2019 list of books for publication.

Why publish a book?

The average life of a digital computer file is 3 years, after which it will have to be saved in a new format.

The life of film on cellulose is around 600 years.

The life of a book is over 2,500 years. The oldest book currently known is an Etruscan script found in a tomb in south western Bulgaria.

The life of music is over 3,400 years. The oldest known song is a Sumerian hymn written on a clay tablet found in the Syrian city of Ugarit.

The life of a painting is over 35,000 years – the date of some cave paintings in both Asia and Europe.
