About the Authors:
SUSAN Haywood is a veterinary pathologist who has spent her professional life teaching vet students at Liverpool University.

DAWN Earl is an accomplished horsewoman and has competed in many national events. She lives at Stainmore in Cumbria with her own horses. Her main interest is in training and re-educating horses with problems using methods she has devised herself.

About the Book:
THIS book is the story of a fell pony called Sherri. At the start of book she is just a year old and is sent to summer school by her owner. Letters Home from Sherri explain how she is gradually civilised and learns how to behave in polite society. It’s a funny but educating book about horse behaviour and how to bring out the best in any pony.

The story is told through a series of imaginary letters between the horse called Sherri and her owner Mummy Twolegs.
