This is the story of the diversification of a family farm over a period of more than half a century, during which upland farming, the awakened public interest in our hills, their public and private uses, the changes in their economy from post war boom to recession and finally the looming existential crisis with a possible way forward, are explored. It is the inspirational story of Tebay Services which grew into the Westmorland Family business.
