Description

Izzy’s comfort zone is shattered when she finds her husband has been unfaithful. Revenge is sweet or is it? Having never been a ‘walker’ she walks out one bright summer morning, dropping her mobile phone down a drain and decides to walk from her home in England to where she used to holiday with her family, in France. Uninvited but accompanying her is her mysterious ‘Pact’ in the shape of Moggie her cat who is determined at any cost she will reach her goal and reshape her life.
The author was inspired to write this novel by a riveting performance by Sir Ian McKellen. At the time she knew nothing of Christopher Marlowe and even less of Dr Faustus and the seven deadly sins.
